Try not to fall out of your chairs – but I have actually remembered to come back. I’ve even done a bit of scrapbooking. You’ve got to love a rainy day. The washing is slowly going one load at a time through the dryer. So even though I’m stamping and scrapbooking – I’m actually doing housework at the same time. Hubby and my oldest son have popped out to see a movie, some guy type thing with guns and stuff, so, I’m home and it’s quiet so its wonderful.
Enough rambling here is the scrapbook page….

As you can see the It’s Maori Mate was still out on my scrap table so it came into good use. I’ve also used some of our On Board Timeless Type, chipboard letters daubered with black staz-on ink, and then glossed up with Crystal Effects. I’ve used my sewing machine to make the two black borders. The decorative elements include Basic Jumbo grommets, basic gray cordoroy button, star designer brad and a playground button. The page is finished off with some striped grosgrain ribbon and a few riding hood red cardstock arrows.
Then because I had some scraps left over I made another male card to finish off my set of three maori mate cards….here it is….

Gosh I love playing with our circle punches – they make cards come together so quickly and easily.
Now, that’s about it for today….remember that Sale-a-Bration is on at the moment – just spend $100 on any SU product and you can recieve one of four stamp sets for free.
till next time, happy stamping,

I know I was going to show you some more things made with the love notes but you will just have to wait another day.
I am so excited to bring you this colour combination. A couple of weeks ago, I recieved an order from Stampin’ Up!, and as I was removing the cardstock from the box, four colours came out together that totally inspired me.
This is those colours….Elegant Eggplant, Rose Red (or you could use Ruby Red), Pumpkin Pie and Always Artichoke. I love the jewel like look that these colours inspire. I have been waiting to have some time to play with this colour combo. I had a spare couple of hours this morning and I wanted to make something using the markers and rub-ons for this months special. Therefore I have combined all three and come up with the following pieces for you. I have used the markers directly to the “It’s Beautiful” wheel. This is something I have never done before as I wasn’t confident that it could be done. But now I know it can. I just coloured the wheel with the four coloured markers, huffed on it and rolled it onto whisper white cardstock. The only other stamp set I have used is the “A Beautiful Thing” stamp set. Both the wheel and stamp set are only available until the end of this month, November 30th.
Here is the full set of items I have made.

The first item I have here is a 6X6 scrapbook page. I have used my wheeled strip as my patterned paper strip through the centre of my page. I have added the rub-ons from the “Eastern Elegance” set, directly to my photo. My journaling is then put onto two word window punched pieces and added a few Rose Red brads to finish off.

This was the first item I made a card using the wheeled image. I have also wheeled an extra pumpkin pie flower, cut it out and mounted it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Again, I have used the “Eastern Elegance” rub-ons for the greeting. The Always Artichoke card base has been stamped in Always Artichoke ink.

This card uses the Rose Red as my card base, stamped in Rose red ink. The greeting is another rub-on from the same set. I love that all Stampin’ Up! rub-ons come in both black and white. The white is fantastic to use on any of the darker colour cardstocks.

I had a few scraps left over, so thought that a couple of gift cards were the way to finish my stamping session. I love using my scraps for gift cards. It’s always great to have a couple of gift cards on hand, for those times when you need a quick card.

All of these cards and the scrap page have a healthy dose of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter attached with the 2-way glue pen.
I hope you like this colour combination, I have no doubt it is one that I will be using again. Remember the stamp set and wheel are only available until the end of November. The rub-ons are available at a discount of 20% with any $20 purchase, and finally, the markers are available individually until the end of the month for $4.95 each.
WOW, there is a lot going on at the moment!
Ok, I will be back with those items using the love notes, so stay posted.
till then, happy stamping.

Many of you have asked what my craft area and my craft room is like….well here it is in pictures. It is my favourite room in my house, and I am very fortunate to have such a loving husband that encourages me in my craft hobby and business. My craft room is situated in what was the formal lounge room of our home, and many of my customers, downlines and friends have had many hours of fun creating in this room. I must mention that all of the cabinets were purchased from Ikea and were assembled by Neil, Stephs wonderful hubby, over quite a few weekends. Then Steph & I had a ball working out where everything would go.

The photos start from one corner and work their way around. This one shows where I store my 12X12 papers.

This is overlooking my worktable to the left hand end of my room, showing where my A4 papers are all stored in their colour families and showing the first of my Punch racks – also purchased from Ikea. In the overhead cupboards are my stamp sets and other stuff stored and underneath the bench is where I store my completed 12 X 12 albums and other project materials.

This is the same area again, showing the wonderful Ikea drawer storage and sorting system, now everything has a place and my drawers are always tidy with everything easy to access.

This is the far end of my craft room, also known as the business end. As this is where my laptop and printer and Ipod dock live. So at least I don’t have far to go if I am blog surfing, I can be inspired by an idea and then get straight into the creating. The beautiful pictures on the wall, were given to me by my two older boys, they are gorgeous Kelly Lane butterfly canvases.

This photo focuses on the centre of my craft room. This is my main work area, everything I need is within arms reach – so easy for crafting. Although, I still often end up using the whole table in the centre of the room. It also shows my little display cabinet above my work area, where I put my latest projects.

This is the all-revealing messy stamp set storage. These two cupboards hold all of my basic stamp sets in alphabetical order with a cupboard further to the right holding my backgrounds, alphabets and wheels. Lots of fun in these cupboards. And sorry I have no idea how many sets I have. Let’s just say, “quite a few” and then everyone is happy…
I hope you have enjoyed this little insight into my creative space and remember to keep an eye out for my future class schedule so that you too, can come and play in my room.
till next time,
Happy Stamping,

I’m sure you were all thinking “she’s not coming back….a good start but where is she?”
I have been very busy, I was fortunate to be asked to demonstrate a Workshop Wow at our recent Demonstrator Training night in Brisbane. My WOW of choice was demonstrating my favourite SU product the Simply Scrappin’ Kits. So I spent a couple of days non stop scrapbooking and card making. How cool is my job? I HAVE to stamp and scrapbook – I am truly the luckiest person, having a job that involves doing my favourite past-time.
So what did I do? The following layouts and co-ordinating cards, I also demonstrated how to make a mini album using half of a Simply Scrappin’ Kit. I hope you like what I’ve made…

This is from the Crew Kids Girl Simply Scrappin’ Kit you can also use it beautifully with teenagers as well as little girls…

Then of course is my all time favourite of our Simply Scrappin’ Kits – the Crew Kids Boy. I couldn’t resist doing a couple of layouts and matching cards with this one.

This page is of my family including my two older boys girlfriends, on a day we all went out for lunch at Kingscliffe in New South Wales.

This photo of my littlest man, Jayden was also taken at Kingscliffe, and the journalling on the page reads…My Boy – just another day that I’m so proud your mine….. love this kid, he is such a character!

The Round Up kit is wonderful for both male & Female pages and cards. the first page is of Jess at Jaydens Cowboy birthday party - am a bad mother to plan my sons birthday party around my favourite products? – and the second is of Jayden playing dress up one day.

I hope I’ve managed to show you heaps of different ways to use these kits, remember they are only $36.95 per kit which includes 8 sheets of 12X12 Textured cardstock, 6 sheets of 12X12 double sided patterned paper, and 6 sheets of self-adhesive die cuts, heaps to complete your project of choice.
Ok, I’ve got heaps more to show you, so keep an eye out on this site or even better sign up to get notified whenever I update this blog,
till next time, happy stamping and scrapping

I had a scrap of Basic Gray cardstock that was floating around on my desk for a week or two, and it inpsired me to come up with this collection of male cards and a scrap page using my Wanted Stamp Set. This set is so cool for male cards, i just love it.

I made three of the cards last week, and then an extra one yesterday, which I was inspired to create by a card that Vicki Dean designed. But then I spent a week tossing up on a design for the scrap page. My youngest son Jayden recently had his 8th birthday and we had a cowboy themed party so I knew I wanted to use this set and these colours I just didn’t know how. Then I remembered a scrap sketch that Makeesha Byl had sent through to us on a demo forum and I thought it would be perfect for this page. I also have to thank my good buddy Steph for the inspiration for the scallop punched element that I have made. I love that all of the demos work together to inspire each other. I hope you like it also.

The colours I have used are Basic Gray Textured cardstock, real red cardstock and ink, Not quite Navy cardstock and ink and whisper white carsdtock. I have also used the scallop punch, and the jumbo eyelets set with the crop a dile. For the title, I have used the chipboard alphabet with the Whisper white craft ink.
So for those of you who always struggle with male cards, I hope that I can continue to provide you with some inspiration, as males are all around me and the main theme of all that I do.
till next time,
Happy Stamping,
